When running targen with a pre-conditioning profile I receive the error
message "No CGATS file identifier found."
that would be a hint that the cgats file you gave it is not in fact
a cgats file. Or perhaps you have got confused about which parameter
is which in the command line, and have pointed to the wrong file
in your command line.
Entirely possible. I've run this routine successfully in the past, but it
has been some time and I may have slightly changed something in my
workflow.
Or, if I remove the file
extension from the profile, I instead receive the error "Can't open
device
profile."
Right. The extension is part of the file name. The operating system
can't locate the file if you don't specify its full name. Because
you truncated the filename, it didn't find the file.
That's what I had suspected.
This is an icc profile created by i1Profiler. The command runs
fine without the -c flag. Thank you for any guidance!
Without you showing the actual command lines and explaining
what files are where, it's hard to help any further.
1st I ran "targen -v -d4 -G -f1800 -A0 -l400 CMYK_1800_TAC400" and then
read the chart and created an icc with i1Profiler.
Then I attempted to run "targen -v -d4 -G -f3600 -A1 -l400
-c/Users/heywardhart/ESCP20K-CIFA_Baryta_Photographique-PK-1200x1200-EPD-M1-PC.icc
CMYK_3600_CIFA_Baryta_Photographique"
At this point I received the aforementioned error.
