Hi
I am trying to create a device linked profile for a TIFF (in this case,
Bamboo.tif). I am able to make smaller size device linked profiles for a TIFF
that is about 300 KB. But the files I often work with are often larger. I am
having difficulty with a medium sized file (3.4 GB). The larger file size
appears to be an issue as may be my computer.
Is there a maximum file size for cctiff?

My hardware overview is as follows:
Model Identifier: MacPro4,1
Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 8 MB
Memory: 32 GB
The steps I’m following are:
Step 1. tiff gamut -v -f85 -pj -cmt HasselbladLStarRGB.icc Bamboo.tif
Step 2. collins -v -gh -G Bamboo.gam -ip -cmt -dpp HasselbladLStarRGB.icc
Argyll4357HLStar.icc Bamboogamut.icc
Step 3. cctiff -e Argyll4357HLStar.icc Bamboogamut.icc Bamboo.tif
BambooOptimized.tif
Where:
bamboo.tif is the image to be linked
HasselbladLStarRGB.icc is the embedded gamut of Test.tif
Argyll4357HLStar.icc is the printer profile
I am getting the following errors.
Step 1. No Errors
Step 2. No errors.
Step 3.
Error:
