Hi,
I have two ti3 files as follow:
SampleID SAMPLE_NAME XYZ_X XYZ_Y XYZ_Z LAB_L LAB_A LAB_B
1 A1 60.35 60.85 7.39 82.30 4.00 80.00
1 A1 21.97 12.69 3.84 42.30 54.10 28.60
That's a massive shift in color!
Then I run refine -v -c -g cietarget.txt ciecurrent.txt profile.icc to
generate an
abstract profile. The goal is to change one color for another. Yet, when I
convert to this
profile in Photoshop the entire target change, not only the color patch I
meant.
Right - an abstract profile, like any other cLUT is assumed to be smooth, since
it is interpolated. So each tweak point has a volume of influence that is
smoothly
blended with the default "no change" mapping.
Should I run refine with different options?
No, I don't think it is the tool you are looking for, to make massive
changes to very specific colors. It's main use is in making subtle
corrections.
