may I ask a question about the use of cctiff?
Do I understand it correctly that cctiff converts the pixel values in the
input image to the pixel values in the desired output colour space using the
two ICC profiles for input and output?
I would like to convert a "raw" scanner TIF file to the AdobeRGB colour
space using the ICC-Profile for scanner+emulsion to compare this with what I
get from the scanner software.
Is this then the correct usage:
cctiff -ir scanner.icc -ir AdobeRGB1998.icc input.tif output.tif ?
I ask, since I get larger discrepancies between the output of cctiff and the
scanner software than I expect from just the different numerics between
Argyll and the scanner software, which I would expect be on the order of
promille and not percent.
