Normally dispcal, when run without parameters, prints help where the
values for "-y" option are listed for the instrument found. Another
option is to look into the source spectro/spyd2.c and search for the
spyd4_disptypesel array where the parameters are given along with some
descriptions.

Or suggest what else may be awry?
