Hi,
I have the 1ipro..
as Roger points out, it needs to be a non-UV cut i1Pro to use FWA compensation.
What about FWA compensation if I do not know the environment where I'll see
the prints??
There's not much point in it unless you have some idea what the viewing
situation will be.
After targen,chartread ....
Do I have to use -f -i D50 with colprof?? It will suffice?
It may help if the print will be viewed under real sunlight
(i.e. a light source with a UV content similar to sunlight).
If the illuminant has a quite different UV content (i.e.
normal fluorescent lights, LED lighting, both very low in UV),
then the results is likely to be worse.
Will I use custom spectrum file with the -i parameters when I'll know the
environment where I see the prints? OK?
If you want improved accuracy, yes. You'd normally use illumread for
this, unless you have something like a JETI 1211 instrument available.
