Just a small sign, not a confirmation.
I would expect that some other calibration packages use
the table form of TRC as well. I also haven't noticed any issues on
my two Macs, and neither have a number of other people that I know
who have been creating profiles for Macs.
It's easy to create a gamma based profile, use the -ag option with profile.
