But typically this sort of error is because you don't have the USB
system drivers installed. See
<https://www.argyllcms.com/doc/Installing_MSWindows.html#WIN8>.
Check using the MSWindows Device Manager that the "ArgyllLibUSB-1.0A
has your Spyder 5 listed underneath it, when it is plugged in.
