I noticed that colprof creates profiles with vcgt tag when using
measurement data made with 'dispread -v -K TargetA.cal DisplayA' type of
command. http://argyllcms.com/doc/Scenarios.html#PM7 tells that:

In the second case, the calibration file created using dispcal should be
provided to dispread using the -K flag:
dispread -v -K TargetA.cal DisplayA
Create the profile as usual using colprof. but note that colprof will ignore
the calibration, and that no 'vcgt' tag will be added to the profile.

I made two measurements, one with dispread -K and one without. Then made
two profiles using colprof -v -ax. Results:
