I find that I don't really understand some things, subtle or not, that the programs are doing. For example I don't know how to evaluate the information that the programs spew out. I've read quite a lot about clor managment, including `Real World Color Management', and I've studies the argyll documentation. Unfortunately, in the latter case, I sometimes find I didn't understand what it said or I missed important features. For example, I just found the note that for my Eye One Pro, which is a spectrometer, I don't need the -y l option. There is no simple solution to not reading carefully, but where can I go to get additional information and background, particularly about the meaning of the program output. -- Leonard Evens <len@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Mathematics Department, Northwestern University
