Long before the questions of geometry to facilitate patch
recognition...there’s the fundamental problem that there simply aren’t any
printers that any mere moral is going to be buying that can print a target
that will be of much use for camera profiling. Your best hope for something
you might print yourself is something that you can use to linearize RAW
output prior to profile application...but, even then, anything you can
print is going to fall far short of what you’d get with a ColorChecker.
