thank your for your reply, and sorry for me being rather late. I was travelling
quite a bit and did not manage to catch up here.
What color of background do you mean? How dark is it?
The scenario is to print not direktly on dark, but on transparent media, that
will - most of the time - have an almost black background (we can assume it to
be perfectly black). This means that the whole printing logic kind of gets
reversed - to achieve white, I need a lot of ink, while for black, I can just
go with zero density. I am not sure if this is actually possible with ICC, or
any other profiling technology out there.
