Meet Reginald Damon...aka Reggie.
After the raccoon, there were a couple of days where the food in the trap
was eaten but the trap wasn't triggered. I figure raccoons are smart enough
to learn to get the tuna without stepping on the trigger plate.
Last night it sprung and and there was an iddy biddy kitten. We took him
immediately to the emergency vet in Crystal River (if it had been warm, we
would've waited until our vet was open. But it was too cold.
He isn't feline leukemia/FIV positive. Around six weeks and 1.6 pounds
(he's underweight, but eats very well.) And he's quarantined in a large
carrier in my room for at least two weeks. The dark mark is a cut and being
neosporined.
