This may be helpful. Looks like there were changes in January 2022 and modifiers May also need to be used.

Hello,
We have run into an issue with an audit regarding billing for the application of multilayered compression wrapping. So, I am looking for any help, research, published information from Medicare that could help at this time. Essentially we were denied a claim of the wrapping portion of the billing. I have always previously placed wrapping with manual therapy and billed accordingly – but at this time the decision based on feedback from the audit is that wrapping is not a billable time/charge. I cannot believe this would be accurate.
So, Please if anyone has any insight, tips, clues, information that would be greatly appreciated. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can point me in the direction of written information from Medicare, CSM, other information such as this that I can demonstrate to my leadership that this is a billable time and how we can support documentation of such.
Thank you in advance for any thoughts/time/information
