Subject: Richard Holt 1-19-35 to 6-27-19
This is sent to you with a heavy heart but a rejoicing heart. Dick Holt
graduated to heaven on August 27, 2019 after a long and fruitful life He
passed very peacefully at the hospital with the family present We know he is
enjoying a great reunion with his Lord and Savior and all that have gone
before him. And that he has no more pain.
He had a long ordeal with a multitude of health problems that he always
overcame even to the end. After 6 hours in the ER Monday night I was told that
all systems were go, the only problem was he was still unresponsive. He
started having some breathing difficulties at that time and the Dr. then tested
his arterial blood and found he was saturated with Carbon Dioxide due to his
chest muscles not getting the signals needed to deflate his lungs when he tried
to exhale. The Drs had run out of options and Dick was unable to overcome the
battle with his motor neuron disorder of over 30 years.
The family is in the process of scheduling a Memorial Service at Ventura
Missionary Church and will get the word out as soon as plans have been
finalized. We are also planning to video tape the service and have a link
available for those interested that are unable to attend.
We thank you for all your prayers during these last 30 years of his many
medical disorders.
