The event at Ellington for the arrival of the consoles for MCC is still on.
The start time has been moved up from 1115 to 1100. For those that are
attending , you should go to the NASA gate at the southern end of the field
near the Guppy hangar. They have a list of the folks that resonded to me
and there should be no problem getting in. Just tell them you are an alumni
attending the event. If there is a problem there will be some NASA PAO
folks there to escort anyone. After entering that gate on your left is
Building 273 and guests will assemble in that conference room. I have
arranged for a couple of wheel chairs to be available should anyone need
them. I have attached the original notice and everything is the same except
the earlier assembly time of 1100 vice 1115.
