Stamper, Darrell E. Passed in peace, Saturday, September 12, 2020, after
battling pancreatic cancer. Preceded in death by his parents, Myron and
Borgny Stamper. Loving father of Chris A. Stamper and daughter-in-law
Jessica M. Stamper. Proud grandfather to Elissa, Dylan, Matthew and Garrett
Stamper. Brother to Karen Tweed and Eldon Stamper. Further survived by
nieces, other relatives and friends. Darrell will be fondly remembered by
family and friends for his love of NASA and the entire space industry to
which he dedicated 40 years. He was involved in countless missions which
advanced space exploration. Known for a quick wit, detailed-driven and a
dry sense of humor; Darrell could be tough at times but conducted himself
with dignity, respect and a proud mentor to those who knew him well.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 in Seattle,
Washington at 11:00am. Evergreen Washelli Cemetary 11220 Aurora Ave N,
Seattle, WA 98133.
