Hi All,
I like to have my Mantis bluetoothed to my windows 10 machine. When I do
this I am sitting in my living room and my computer is a bit of a distance
away. It is probably just around 30 feet. I am using a Bluetooth extender
for my Mantis. When using JAWS 2021 all is well with the exception of some
minor connecting issues when I first start using the setup each day.
However, when I have tried to use JAWS 2022 and now 2023, all heck breaks
loose. For both of them the braille display slows to a crawl, and eventually
either JAWS shuts down, the Mantis disconnects from Bluetooth, or both. Does
anyone have and idea of what might be going on? Has anyone else had those
problems with JAWS 2022 and 2023?
I am using a Dell computer that I got in 2011, but it does have 12 gb of
ram.
