Hi Jerry and All,

I recently sold my Rodgers 740B and I've been helping the new owner get
it settled into their household. She's run into a problem where the
combinations that she set are being lost when the organ is powered down
so it appears that the memory batteries have failed. I've got to run up
there to do a few more things and I'd like to be prepared with the
correct replacement batteries or a practical substitute when I get
there. Does anyone have information on the batteries that Rodgers used
in this particular instrument (or info on their physical size,
electrical specs, etc.). From the schematic they appear to be
rechargeable types.

I'm guessing that they're tucked away under the CPU cover on the
Multifunction board since I never notice them when I was poking around
while I owned the organ.

Thanks,

Gary

Gary,

According to the Rodgers Tech website -- these are all equivalent parts:
2SD555 97SE101 2N4347 2N4348

And cross-reference to: GE-14 HEPS7000 SK3947/388 SK3036

Should be able to find something in this list -- let me know if you need
further assistance...

Best regards,

Friends,
I have a Columbia 100 with a defective power transistor PART # 97SE101
(7351) .
Unfortunately all the web searches have failed to find a supplier with
this part. Have any of you found a parts house for these older pieces?
