Hi Jerry and All, I recently sold my Rodgers 740B and I've been helping the new owner get it settled into their household. She's run into a problem where the combinations that she set are being lost when the organ is powered down so it appears that the memory batteries have failed. I've got to run up there to do a few more things and I'd like to be prepared with the correct replacement batteries or a practical substitute when I get there. Does anyone have information on the batteries that Rodgers used in this particular instrument (or info on their physical size, electrical specs, etc.). From the schematic they appear to be rechargeable types. I'm guessing that they're tucked away under the CPU cover on the Multifunction board since I never notice them when I was poking around while I owned the organ.
