Carl,
They had a nice piece on the news for help rebuilding Bastrop on the 9 pm
news. Interviewed a person from the long range rebuilding committee and
also showed MDS signs in front of houses rebuilt and also interviewed a few
mennonites that volunteered with Christian Aid Ministries. I liked the
site leader coming out and saying they are coming here to help rebuild
because they have Jesus in their hearts. Announcer got it right that
Mennonites have stopped for the summer but will come back if there are more
donations that can pay for material to build more houses. They then gave
information on how you can donate.
