Members and Friends of Austin Mennonite Church
During the month of September we will have had opportunity to re-covenant to
be church together. This next Sunday, as in the past, you will be invited
to sign the Austin Mennonite Church Covenant indicating your intention to
join in Christian community in order to participate in our quest to fashion
an alternative living experience that reflects God's design for life and
relationship.
This next Sunday we will also share in the experience of communion as both
memorial to the person and work of Christ and commitment to be present with
and for each other as disciples of Jesus. All persons who embrace the way
of Jesus as their intended pattern of living will be welcome to participate
in communion.
I pray you will find this opportunity to be a meaningful encouragement as
you continue your journey of faith.
