Dear Friends,
One of the challenges for joining our online Zoom gatherings is finding
that pesky link to click on. What email was it in? This week I sent an
email to the AMC email list late Saturday evening with the link. I also
posted it on the Austin Mennonite Church Facebook page.

people who texted me and asked for the link.
Starting with today's gathering the link should be the same next week and
for the weeks following. The same with the Youth Group meetings. They have
been set up as recurring meetings which keeps the same link each week.
However, next week I will still send the link out a Saturday evening email
to our email list and post it on the AMC Facebook page.
In spite of that glitch I think our Sunday Zoom gatherings are going well.
Thank you to everyone who helps to make it happen. Are we getting used to
this?
The Facilities Committee met last week to talk about reopening scenarios.
We have not set a date for gathering physically at the church. We all felt
an abundance of caution and concern for everyone's safety, including other
groups using the church facility. It is too soon. We talked about protocols
for coming into and leaving the facility, wearing face masks and
sanitizing. We will meet again on May 15 to reassess the situation.
Thank you everyone for suggestions on how to improve and for affirmation of
the current efforts. The Austin Mennonite Church family and friends are a
wonderful slice of humanity and obviously the best folks ever!
