Thanks so much for your prayers for my friend Kelly who asked for prayers
about her serious blood count problem. I am including her thanks. It
sounds like she is doing much better and more importantly feeling loved and
cared for.

Janice

Paper just seems so restrictive anymore, doesn't it?

I wanted to thank you for your prayers, thoughts, calls, emails, digital
pictures, and/or cards etc. that you have sent me during my recent illness!
I very much appreciate your kindness!!! I wanted to let you know that I am
well on my way to a great recovery from the low platelets-my latest reading
is in the normal range--(and hopefully a remission of the lupus in general).
Even though this was traumatic for me and my family, your support has meant
a great deal to us; and, through God's love and your expressions of concern
and care, I have come to feel at great peace about the whole process! I
feel that with a committed effort toward a healthier eating and exercise
schedule that I will be able to keep this disease in check along with
regular visits to my doctor who will monitor my progress carefully which
should help alleviate major problems before they get a chance to take hold
in my body. I found out that no other organs are involved with the lupus at
this time other than the blood problem, and normal pain and fatigue that I
am somewhat used to by now, so I am very relieved about that! I am hoping
to adjust my work schedule to allow more rest during the week and feel
confident that things will work out great for me at work and in life!
Thank you for being a caring part of my life!
Love,
Kelly
