9:30 am - Two online Sunday School Classes (high school and adults):
1.
Bible Study Class: Discussion of the lectionary text, Mark 10:2-16 and
an exploration of the lesson, “The Church’s Activities Acts 2:37-47
from the Salt & Light fall curriculum, God's Approachable Community, by
Reta Halteman Finger.
2.
“ Welcome!,” a Sunday school class exploring the book, Fusion: Turning
First Time Guests Into Fully Engaged Members of Your Church, by Nelson
Searcy (Baker, 2017). We will be discussing this book, sharing our own
experiences, and developing ways to help AMC welcome guests. High school
and above are welcome. Read through page 67. Chapter 3, “seven minutes and
counting.”
11:00 am - Worship Service with Communion: (hybrid: in-person and on Zoom) We
do see Jesus. On this World Communion Sunday we acknowledge the centrality
of Jesus. Job 1:1, 2:1-10; Psalm 26; Hebrews 1:1-4, 2:5-12
