Please join the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Texas at
Austin for the next lecture in the Religion in Public series: “Ethics and the
Search for Extraterrestrial Life.” Professor John Traphagan will talk about
some of the moral questions related to the search for life on other worlds and
also some of the potential implications of finding life for different religious
groups.
The event will take place Wednesday, April 3 from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Blanton
Café. There will be live music by The Botolph Jazz Trio, followed by the
lecture at 6 pm. Pizza and beverages will be available for purchase at 5:30 pm.
The event is free and open to the public.
Paid parking is available at Brazos Garage, located at 210 E Martin Luther King
Jr Blvd, as well as nearby street parking.
