Hi AMC Friends
Larry & I like to get together with community friends for periodic themed
sing-a-longs (Thanksgiving, Christmas, MLK Day, Valentine’s Day etc.). On
several years we have hosted a sing-a-long around Martin Luther King Day and
sung social justice and civil rights songs. We have a friend who can play on
the piano anything you can hum so people call out songs-- we shine words from
lyrics.com <http://lyrics.com/> on the wall-- and she accompanies the singing.
Our own “Group Karaoke"-- Great fun.
We’d like to invite any of AMCers who would like to join in our MLK Sing-a-Long
this year to join us.
What: Sing-a-Long MLK Social Justice/Civil Rights Songs (and anything else we
want to sing :)
When: Sunday, January 14, 2017 7-8:30 pm

Note 1: This is NOT a community supper. It is just a sing a long.
Note 2: Please feel free to invite anyone you think would like it to come with
you.
Note 3: Feel free to bring a list of songs you’d like to suggest and if they
are not likely to be on lyrics.com <http://lyrics.com/>—bring copies of the
words.
