You found your incredible air bnb! I am SO pleased for you two. It looks
beautiful! And the green! I think I'm forgetting what green looks like --
except for the two neighbors on my block who water their lawn.

I want you to know that we really appreciated the sending off on Sunday.
It was such a sad day. We really do love you and consider you all our
community - even if it is a community afar right now.
I thought you would like to know that we made it to Ruidoso, New Mexico
intact with 2 cats. WOW when we drove up to our Air bnb and stepped out of
the car the cool air and the smell was so wonderful.
This has been a great stay so far. I feel so grateful to be able to take
this time. We have relaxed, I have started a puzzle, we have eaten out and
slept in. On Friday we were invited to a feast/celebration of the Mescalero
Apaches which is a big part of their community. They celebrate young women
coming into puberty. I heard it explained as a quinceanera on steroids.
They celebrate for 4 days! We didn't get any of our own pictures because
you are not supposed to take pictures there.
The pictures below are our airbnb and one picture that I took of the TPs
before getting to the celebration. The link will get you to a 3 minute PBS
