attached find a report from our visit to the border village of haji omeron along with a picture. in front of me is the border crossing into iran--the facility in the roadway to the far left in the picture. across the way see iranian outposts in the mountains that lead to the south and where the heaviest fighting is taking place. the village of kani spi lies over the ridge behind my head.
