His styles vary from the political songs like "Weapons of Mass Distraction" to love songs. His styles vary from folk/Americana to branching out into experimental Blues oriented alternate tuning. Recently he composed some songs based on a discussion with his preacher/brother-in-law about the end of the world and comments like "the world is going to burn anyway" etc...Two songs came out that experience. One called "That preacher, Time" and "Tell me the world is burning when." Greg Rhodes will share the stage with Doug playing slide dobro and his Strat Aaron Calhoun's voice sparkles and his songs always have unique suprising lush pop arrangements in his self produced recordings. Aaron's lyrics are always infused with a personal sense of spirit...and elude to deeper realities. You don't want to miss him perform them on his acoustic... an intimate experience to be sure. LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL INVITE EVERYONE YOU KNOW PLEASE RSVP AND LET US KNOW HOW MANY ARE COMING!!
