[amc] Christmas eve candlelight service

Members and Friends of Austin Mennonite Church
We are planning a Christmas Eve Service at 7p, Wed evening, Dec 24, here
at the church. We will listen together to the scriptures presenting the
birth of Jesus as God's gift of reconciling grace to us and sing
traditional carols that celebrate this universal blessing. And we will
light candles to demonstrate this new light coming into our darkness.
I encourage you to begin thinking of readings, experiences and stories,
songs (solos or ensembles), and other expressions that are especially
meaningful to you during this significant season. I would like to
include these offerings during this candlelight service for the benefit
and inspiration of the community.
Please contact me or other members of the Worship Committee, Carrie,
Judy, or Laura, and indicate what items you are willing to share with us
on that evening. If you desire musical accompaniment please let us
know, and we will try to accommodate you with this support.
