As many as can make it, first rehearsal is at 10 AM this Saturday morning for about an hour. As you might know, this has been a very full Fall for many of us, so our time to prepare has been shortened. However, I believe we have time to prepare several pieces for the Sunday before Christmas (Dec23), and maybe even a piece for this coming Sunday (the 16th). Practice schedule: Saturday Dec 15, 10 AM in the Sanctuary Sunday Dec 16 10:30 (for 15 minutes during the coffee time, in the choir room in the annex behind the kitchen) POSSIBLY Saturday Dec 22 10 AM (if we need it) Sunday Dec 23 (again in the annex for final tune up before the service) Pieces under consideration (all these are works we have done in previous years): Wexford Carol (John Rutter) MLK - yes, I'll explain - a rain-lullaby written/performed by U2, choral arrangement by Bob Chilcott Shepherds, shake off your drowsy sleep (traditional English carol) I encourage anyone wishing to put together a small ensemble or to sing a solo. There are opportunities, especially for the Christmas Eve service.
