Our congregation is mourning the loss of Terri and thinking about how to
best support Lee in this time of change.
With help from the Deacons it seemed that a coordinated approach is better
than everyone going to Lee one at a time to ask him what they can do.
So, I have contacted Lee to talk about what needs he has and set up a Care
Calendar for people to go to in order to sign up for a time to bring a
meal. Lee said that he has very few needs and his kids live close, so he
has people around him. The one thing that might be nice is meals. He eats
anything. He is often having meals with his kids. Their considerations are
vegetarian, gluten free and non dairy. He specifically mentioned soup as
something that would be helpful.
If you do decide to bring something please sign in to the Care Calendar and
chose a day (he suggested 2 days a week) and note what you are bringing.
That will keep us from all bringing the same dish 🤔
