To everyone,
You may have some questions after reading Lee's announcement about the
email list. Here is some information that you can review and if you want
to look at the archive yourself, here are the directions (in #2 below).
1 - is my email address available to the public? No, they do redact an
email address before they archive it.
2 - how would a person access the archive? First, they would need to know
our email list is called 'amc'. Second they would go to the website
https://www.freelists.org/list/amc . At that website you will see the
link List Archive: amc Archive.
3 - How does a person not part of AMC find our mailing list web page. On
freelists.org website you can do a 'search' of mailing lists. So if you
do a search today for 'Mennonite' you will find 4 email lists.
4 - Does that mean anyone can post to our email list? The answer is...no,
you first have to register yourself on the admin website as someone that
wants to receive posts. Steve Hochstetler does receive a notice whenever
anyone registers and if there was a strange address I would be checking
that out. Until they register, they cannot post.
