*Sharing of Joys and Concerns from the week of July 15, 2018*
- Janice - still amazed by the rescue of the 12 boys and coach trapped
deep in a cave in Thailand and was impressed by the adults who helped the
boys meditate to overcome their fear and trauma. Steve is in Italy. I will
be meeting him in Helsinki later this month.
- Josh - remember Dama and Ted and the family in prayer with the
unexpected death of Dama's brother in Belize. Ted and Dama will need to
travel back to Belize next week.
- Thad - pray for my friend, Christi, experiencing pain. She will
undergo tests on July 19.
- Visitor - pray for a person receiving hospice care and for his wife.
- Sean - pray for safe travels for his wife, name...
- Christopher - pray for my grandpa Lupe still in the hospital.
- Caprice - delighted to report the birth of Leo Ronan Finbar Bott to
Natalie and Quinn on Friday the 13th 2018 at 9 pounds, 2 ounces and 20
inches long.
- Bob - concerned about sanctuary for people in transition.
- Dixie - her nephew who joined the army has been changing his
perspective. Pray for his ongoing journey.

Schedule for Jul 22, SUN:
9:30am – Sunday school for all ages.

Children and youth classes will look at Jesus the Good Shepherd in John
10:1–18 Jesus said that he was like a shepherd who knows the names of the
sheep and protects them from harm. The sheep know the shepherd’s voice.
Student will be encouraged to think about Jesus as a caring shepherd

Adults will be exploring Luke 13:22-30 using the Adult Bible Study
curriculum. The session title is “Entering God’s Kingdom.” This passage
ends with the verse, “30Indeed, some are last who will be first, and
some are first who will be last.”
10:30am – Snacks.
11:00am – Worship.
