*Sharing of Joys and Concerns from Sunday, April 2, 2017*
- Janice - for several months she has been assisting a friend in
difficult circumstances and is hoping that the person can transition to a
more sustainable path.
- Lee - The Gerbers (Aaron, Karen, Eli, Lisa) continue their several
stage transition to the Goshen, Indiana area. The house here has sold and
they have a new house in Goshen. Karen, Lisa and Eli are moving this week.
Karen has a sub teaching job which looks hopeful for a more permanent
position. Aaron will finish up his teaching position here and then make the
move in May. (The congregation gathered around the Gerbers and prayed from
them.)
- Omar - Lyndon Rogers, the pastor of the congregation (Principe de Paz)
sharing our facility, was hospitalized last week with internal bleeding. He
was released Sunday evening and is recuperating at home.
- Omar - thank you for the help in sprucing up the community garden area
behind the church as we prepare for our wedding there in July.
- Machue - enjoyed spending a week (with my parents) in Florida visiting
my sister who just had a baby. (Jackie and Andre have photos they are
willing to share!)
- Machue - my brother (Ken) in Cameroon was involved in a accident as a
pedestrian and sustained a head injury. He was seen by medical people but
there is concern about the quality of care he is receiving.
- Lee - Bob Koehn will be having a heart catheterization on April 21.
- Lee - Terri is having difficulty eating and she has more days with
uncomfortable pain. Thank you for your expressions of love, prayers,
flowers and other expressions of support. It gives us strength.
