Whites and grays? How MANY different shades?
Halftones or solid colors?
I'd almost say-if this is a multi color job-then it may be cheaper to have
someone with a DTG do it for you.
I will tell you-that we have an automatic $100 minimum order (retail) for ANY
amount of shirt printing-and except for I think 1 time over 25 years, I have
never printed even a 2 color job on less than 24 pieces. Cost wise, with 2
screen charges at the minimum-@ $35 each, you have $70 ($12 per shirt) ALREADY
before adding in print and shirt charge.
I would say your customer is asking too much...
go for DTG.
And don't forget to tell them...Beefy Tee's shrink like crazy-we won't print on
them for anyone.
Gildan (by our testing) has the least shrinkage of any 100% we've found.
