You might go into the maintenance tab, then to the stepper tab. At the bottom
there should be
Select trimmer type. This should be set at 0. Hit Detect Trimmer, then Set.
Go up to the trimmer column and hit the in and out buttons to make sure the
knife is moving in and out then you should be good to go.
