Maybe try with a regular straight stitch or a bean stitch. According to the Code Sheets in DSv.7, Micro Times and Micro Block have a minimum size of 5mm on wovens. Recommended density is 4.0. If you're using Design Shop, you can pull up the code sheet from the Text Properties box and see what the digitizers recommend. I'd probably use a single layer of tear away backing for stabilization.
