Carol, When I had the problem of hoops wanting to come apart on a big design I would use some big clips you uses for holding papers together and clamp them to the edges and it would all stay together for the sew out. Thanks for thinking of Janruss for your embroidery needs. My hoops are wrapped with a bunch of stuff on the long sides but that doesn't help at all. I am not clear about what "pinning the fabric to the hoop" means, so if someone could describe this, maybe it would help. It just seems to me very difficult to sew a large design with these hoops, and they seem quite tight enough when they are not holding fabric. (in other words, when I put them back together to store between jobs). All help appreciated.
