I use a nice quality Poly-Mesh. I buy it in rolls that tear off like paper
towels and there are several sizes. There is also an iron-on very soft fabric
(at Jo-Anns) you can iron on the back of your embroidery so the thread isn't
abrasive to an infant's skin---sorry, I don't remember what the name of it is.
