Anand,
When you set and save the color of thread in the design it will stay with
the design. The color of the cones will change as you change jobs, so you
need to review the assignment of thread for each needle color used. So my
answer is yes(design shop) and no/maybe (AMAYA OS).
With one other exception, upgrading software where you currently have to
redefine where all the cones are for each machine.
