[amayausers] embroidery on car mats

Hi!
 

Has anyone ever embroidered on car floor mats before?

 

What I would like to do is to be able to embroider boat names on a low pile
mat (that would be the best way I could describe it) that would be used on a
dock or on the boat itself.

 

I am looking for a supplier for the mats and was also wondering if anyone in
the group has ever done this before and how you hooped the mat.

 

I was at a boat show a few months back and saw a company doing this on a
different machine (tajima I believe) and it looked like the mat just laid in
a special hoop.  I wish I could describe it better than that.

 

Anyway, just wondering if anyone has ever done this type of work before and
if so, where did you find the mats and how did you embroider on them?
