Depending on yopur stitch count and density
Use one layer of a "wet laid" non woven

 http://www.lebowconsulting.com/stabilizer-articles.htm

heavy enough to support your stitch count and density.

Nylon jackets are usually fairly stable so you can get by with a tearaway
However you will generally far better registration w/ a cutaway as the fibers
(polyester) are longer allowing for your threads to become more easily and
tightly entangled - leading to better definition

Cutaways are also made in blk in all weights
Blk Tearaways are mainly 1.5 ozs and you would need multiple layers

Pls feel free to contact me off list for samples or further questions

Sincerely
