Hi Anne, Our original Amaya (red) had red rollers, as did our original XT.
Several years ago, Melco upgraded them to a black/yellow version that was
supposed to be better. I spoke with our Melco rep and apparently the red
rollers have been redesigned and now they are the "better" ones. Even though
they look identical, they are made of a new composite material.
