Jeff I had work to do so I aready uninstalled the new program. What it was doing is this.... I turn on the software I then turn on the machine, sometimes it wouldn't recognize the machine, I had power and the amaya was coming on but not recognizing it on the software. Of course not all of the time just half of the time. Also it would do this.... When I turned on the machine and software ( and it initialized it ) I would try to download a design it would go to an odd needle such as 5 for example than deny the download. And then take the amaya off line. Now, not all of the time I tried various designs old and new and it went from denying it to loading them. no consistancy! Now I uninstalled the new software and reinstalled 4.02 and its running great again! Don't know why, don't have time to figure it out right now!
