There was some info posted in relation to Rolands cap problem that every one
needs to be aware of. This is in the AMAYA OS under the Settings/Thread Feed.
The two areas you want to look at are Column Feed and Run/Fill Feed.
Column Feed only affects column elements. Has no affect on underlay, walk, bean
or fill stitches. The default value is 40 with the current OS version . A
larger number takes thread away and smaller numbers add thread.
The run/fill tab does the same thing but only works on the run/fill elements.
Has no affect on the columns. It's default value is 100.
As an example, I was running caps and the XT was fine but the big red was
showing some minor looping on the columns. Both machines running auto-actifeed
with the minimums set at 8 for the XT and 7 for big red. Changed the column
feed for big red to 50 (less thread feed) and looping was gone. These settings
are what allows you to fine tune the thread feed system for your machines so do
not be afraid to tweak them. :D
