Ok I would go to 2 or maybe 1 on the thickness. I would also think about 2
layers of backing.... and adjust accordingly (it might still be 2 or 3....)
A margarita is good but don't over indulge as fingers will get caught under
the needle and cause only one bad thread break and needle extractions may be
necessary!
I was doing a medium weight polo (non-pique) and I was told by a Melco rep
to use 2 cutaways on the bottom and a topping....
I don't think a topping would do you any good here....
