A good way to do numbers on the backs of hats is to use the XT clamps.  These 
go right on the cap driver just like the cap frame and they are easy to line up 
and use.  The only downside to using microclamps on the backs of hats is that 
with the biggest clamp your sewing field is just under 3.5" wide by 3.75" tall. 
 But for just numbers or smaller names or logos these will work ideally.

They will only work on XT's.
