Poly is recommended because you need the extra strength for the high speed
running. I run Poly on all my machines. Plus it does not bleach.

Anand brings up a question that's been in the back of my mind ever since we
received our Amayas. We've been running poly threads pretty steadily for
their strength, but our customers like the sheen of rayon.
For the Amayas, what is the best type of thread to use for the cleanest
looking embroidery but also having the least thread breaks possible - Poly
or Rayon.
