I would run it at 5 or 6, probably 6.

Subject: [amayausers] Question about material thickness settings

> I am having a heck of a time embroidering some jacket backs again. Herb &
Rod, this is the jacket back you guys looked at for me in December. I
thought my trimming issues were over but apparently the goddess Amaya has
decided to take a vacation and the last 3 jackets have been nothing but
trouble. I've had to babysit them the entire run. Same thing when I sew the
names on the front, I have incomplete trims. When I have starts and stops
that involve threadbreaks and missed trims I notice that bobbin thread gets
pulled up when the sewing starts again. So I'm thinking tension is an issue,
am I on track? My main question is, for a nylon jacket with a thin jersey
knit lining and 2 pcs. of thin tearaway, what material thickness would you
all chose to start with?
